Sleep out to help turnover

Newton House has joined in with the hospitality industry’s #SleepOver-ToHelpTurnover campaign which looks to boost public support for the sector, helping hotels and B&B’s to survive amidst the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
As part of its involvement, Newton House has pledged to offer guests who reference #SleepOverToHelpTurnover a complimentary upgrade when booking direct on its website or by telephone.
Already facing additional coronavirus rules, which limit operations, the industry is now moving firmly into the winter months – a period that traditionally sees a drop off in trade for many hospitality businesses.
Having been amongst the first industries to close with the advent of the virus and the longest to stay shut, the sector has already been incredibly hard hit – despite the influx of trade instigated by the #EatOutToHelpOut scheme.
The #SleepOverToHelpTurnover campaign is viewed as a two-way relationship, and seeks to en- courage guests to stay over to help hotels boost their turnover, with hotels in turn offering incentives to guests for doing so – as evidenced by Newton House’s offer of a complimentary upgrade when booking direct on its website or by telephone.
