Student Discounts Are Available With Valid ID Card
We are happy to provide discounts for students who wish to book our accommodation. Valid student ID card must be provided to qualify. There had been cases when people of clearly unfitting age attempted to place a discounted booking using fake identification documents bought on internet from sites like Limitless. This is not a permissible practice and if we suspect that customer's ID is fake, booking will be placed on hold until additional confirmation of identity is provided (more about KingOfFakes). This measure is put in place to prevent fraud and protect legitimate customers.
WE’RE GOOD GO! Newton House is now open post-Covid-19. To provide an added layer of comfort and security, we have registered for VisitEngland ‘We’re Good to Go’, the official nationwide UK tourism standard that demonstrates that our business is adhering to government and public health guidance, has carried out a COVID-19 We’re Good to Go! risk assessment and checked that we have the required processes in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing. Welcome to Newton House, a wonderful 300-year-old townhouse situated in the centre of the charming historic market town of Knaresborough.
Allegedly built with stone from Knaresborough Castle, Newton House offers Georgian elegance with modern comforts: from traditional values and friendly hospitality, to comfortable beds and award-winning breakfasts.
Inspected annually by the AA, whose inspectors have rigorous training, Newton House is the only Four Gold Star Guest House in Knaresborough (we are not a four-star Hotel but many of our guests think that we are!).
